On-air in October 2018, “Zombie Land Saga” was a massive hit anime based on an original story about girls who became zombies and formed a “local idol unit” to save Saga prefecture in Japan. It won the grand prize at the Anime General Election 2018 and Best TV Anime at the Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2019.
